Cobra pearl, also known as sarp–mukta and sarp–mani, is found in the hood of a Cobra.
When raindrops with the power of Svati Nakshatra, falls on the Cobra, this pearl forms, only in the hood of a King Cobra that has lived 100 years. The older the snake gets, the larger and more lustrous the mani (gem). It has a blue tint, moon-like appearance and emits light even in darkness. If luck prevails and one finds the rare gem, one will be able to gain wealth, property, and progeny. This will also allow one to fulfill all of his or her desires. The bamboo pearl is also known as bansh-mukta.

The hog pearl, also known as shookar mukata:

Conch pearl, also known as shankh mukata:
This rare pearl is found in a conch shell. It has a shape similar to an egg and is oval in form. This rare pearl can be found in light yellow, light brown, white, and light shades of blue. Meen mukta
Also known by fish pearl, is a tiny, yellowish-white pearl cultivated in a fish’s stomach. It is considered a gem of power and can cure tuberculosis, among other diseases. Additionally, it is believed that it gives the ability to see underwater.
Oyster pearl
Also known as shukti makta: This pearl forms inside pearl oysters made from layers of conchiolin and aragonite. Tantriks claim it was formed by the first raindrop from Svati Nakshatra and takes five forms depending on the dominance of elements.

These are the qualities that a genuine pearl should possess:
