How God created the world? It is an interesting question, isn’t it? How old is human civilization? How was the old world different from the new? In the following excerpt, we will look at the why behind how God created the world. So many questions! So much inquisitiveness! To find an answer, we must first try to look at the question from several different points of view.
Why God Created the World?
Even in scientific investigations, the why remains unanswered. We never find ourselves asking why the sun, why gravity, and so on. When it comes to nature’s laws, one cannot go hunting behind the motive. We can’t say anything for sure. Neither can we negate any aspect of creation. Therefore, we must ask God the question, for it only He who can answer it fully.
The answer to why God created the world can be found when on the path of sadhana. We will fully know the answers to our questions and doubts. As the impurities in our minds clear, the Maya also transcends. As a result, there is a revealing of the Truth, and hence we would understand the true meaning.
To attain the state of Oneness, the entire triad of the questioner (ego), questioning, and the questioned must dissolve. Moreover, in Oneness, who will question whom? As the world is continually changing, we cannot define it as ‘real.’ How can we ask why God created the world when the developed world is but an illusion? Finally, when the tools of experience pass, the projected world merges into the One, and there is no world to be questioned.
