Significance of Learning Pratah Smarami online with Vedicology
Every day’s first thoughts, words, and actions have a huge impact on one’s life. They can be consecrated and made divine to open the door to spiritual illumination. In that dawn is the outer symbol for the inner awakening, the prayer at dawn has a profound significance.
These stanzas are where Shankara reveals the essence of Advaita Vedanta. The ultimate Reality is Sat-cit-ananda (existence-consciousness-bliss). It is turiya which encompasses all three states of experience and is beyond them. However, these expressions should not be taken as a description or definitive of Reality. Brahman is therefore indicated by the negative, such as ‘not this’ and ‘not this’., NETI-NETI. Brahman is beyond categorization. It transcends the boundaries of ideas and words. The so-called individual soul does not differ from it. The soul should not be confused with the body/mind complex. The world’s elements are merely illusions of the fundamental Reality. A snake, a garland and so on are projected like a rope. These illusions vanish as the sun of wisdom rises, and we are free from all bonds.
