“Brahma Muhurta – The best time to create yourself.” Undoubtedly the above saying is indeed true. Our elders and teachers always advise us to wake up early in the morning to do our studies. I have read many articles that also state that Brahma Muhurta is considered the best time of the day. As it is the perfect time for learning and acquiring long-lasting remembrance of a particular topic. However, being an early riser is my cup of tea. But still, I push myself and decide to try this and check whether it’s right for all or not? And, surprisingly, it is 100% effective and true.
What is Brahma Muhurta
In the ancient ages, people did not have any watch to figure out what time of the day it is? So, they decoded the movement of the sun and moon to get an idea about the time. Every day is divided into six parts for 4 hours each, i.e. 6 am to 10 am and end at 2 am to 6 am. The last part of the day that falls between 2 is to 6 am consists of Brahma Muhurta time. In the Vedic ages, Gurus always ask their Shishyas to recite their Vedas and practise Yoga in this Muhurtha. They had a belief that this is the best time for attaining Brahma Jnanam
Mythological Concept of Brahma Muhurta
As per Vedas, this Muhurtha believed to be a time influenced by Lord Brahma, the world’s creator. Brahmi Muhurtha precisely the time of 96 minutes just before the sunrise. Further, it is bifurcated into 4 Ghatika or 2 Muhurthas of 48 minutes each. Traditionally, people considered it an auspicious duration for studying, worshipping, practising yoga, etc.

A human brain cell seems to be more active in the early hours of the day. These hours considered being the golden hours. As whatever you will study during this time is more likely to stay in your mind for long. All you need a notepad and a pencil or pen for making your notes.
